THE ISLAND AND THE ENERGY GRID:
MOVEMENTS OF THE ISLAND ALONG THE EARTH'S INNER CORE,
INTERSECTING THE TERRAN 'WORMHOLE TUBE SYSTEM'
Let me get straight to the point.... I'm still not entirely convinced that the island is moving along the outer surface of the Earth.... To be sure, the DHARMA Lamppost station has been tracking the probabilistic arcs tracing where the island will likely be, using the Foucault Pendulum-based device and the equations. But I'm still not fully convinced that the island is tracing these arcs on the outer surface of our planet, this island Earth....
In my prior postings this year concerning the Brotherhood of the Snake theory, with its fallen angel undertones, I referenced the pronounced obsession by Hitler and others in the NAZI party for matters of the occult. Their interest in finding the Lost City of SHAMBALLAH is certainly relevant to the series (just ask Three Dog Night....) Shamballah was located on the surface of the inner Earth, an area known as AGHARTA... So when the ancient Egyptians and other civilizations refer to the underworld or netherworld as located downward, they may literally be more correct than we realize.... The fabled Lost City of SHAMBALLAH is located in the 'northwest' position relative to the central sun, in the following diagram....
The NAZIs worked the Tibetan connection in their attempts to locate the entrance to Agharta in that region. Evidence suggests they also searched for a southern access to Agharta, in the region of Antarctica.... In my 3/19/09 "Namaste" posting, I wondered if Penny's Antarctic team had inadvertently stumbled onto some remains of some prior NAZI expedition, and I proposed that it certainly would be interesting to see Faraday in a NAZI uniform, on a U-Boat in the 1940s, accompanying such an expedition....
Hmmm.... I'm so glad that Darlton and crew have not excised the magic with cold scientific exposition, and have promised to keep some aspects of the weird and wonderful island phenomena as magic and mystery, as the tour inevitably winds down to its fated conclusion in the Spring of 2010. From Smokey to Miles with his Frank Black/Millennial/Sixth Sense abilities, from those whispering voices in the wilderness to those strange corporeal materializations (Alex, Christian, Kate's horse, Sayid's cat, etc.), it's refreshing to see the magic play out with the science, side by side as the complex tapestry of heuristic dualisms woven by the Lost creative combine continues to weave its way into our hearts and minds....
While our rational/scientific side may be quick to dismiss the possibility that the island is not arcing on the outside of the Earth, the magical/mystery side is intrigued by that very notion. We may find that there is a second reason the island is so hard to see and find, from the Earth's surface. In addition to the fact that it is moving, we may ultimately learn that while a turbulent 'event horizon' is moving along the Earth's surface, the island itself may in fact be existing and tracing arcs on the inner core of the Earth- AGHARTA....
On this view, the island's unique energy profile/properties generates a surrounding bubble or shell that serves as a boundary for entry and exit to a mini-wormhole phenomenon, establishing connections to various vile vortices of energy grid locations on the outer Earth's surface, albeit not without a bit of turbulence. In short, what may be tracing arcs along the Earth's outer surface is one end of a wormhole that transports travelers to the island....
And yes, this phenomenon may be part of a larger system of wormholes operating on and through the Earth, with access nodes located at the vile vortices on the Earth's energy grid. Indeed, the island may be functioning as its own MOVING MINI-WORMHOLE, tracing arcs along the Earth, with an access point located on the surface of the Earth, at an energy/turbulence 'event horizon' comprising one end of the wormhole.... Hmmmm.... Is the island really tracing arcs along the inner Earth, corresponding with the outer Earth arcs traced by the wormhole, or is the island in a stationary spot on the inner Earth, and it is just the other end of the wormhole (at the outer Earth surface) that is doing the moving? And is this black hole connected to a larger wormhole transit tube system spanning the globe, enabling the island to send people through that system to various exit points on the energy grid (e.g., TUNISIA)?
And what about the sub? As per my postings in 2007 and 2008, the properties of 
water interacting with the properties of the island's outer bubble/shell appear to make the transition less turbulent in some ways... But why the need to drug passengers during the sub trip? One possibility is that the very nature of traveling to the island by sub requires passengers to be unconscious.... There may be some unique characteristic/property of using water as a medium to enter/exit the wormhole.... Or there may be another reason altogether....
I've wondered about the apparently precise and regimented scheduling of sub travel to and from the island... If an inner Earth theory were part of some later big reveal on the show, then one distinct possibility is that GUAM plays an important role due to its distinct proximity to the MARIANA TRENCH, which we may learn provides a water-based means of reaching the island, in a Trieste-like sub equipped to deal with intense pressures at those depths.... Which may be why it is easier to drug sub passengers for the trip.... less drain on oxygen and energy, plus keeping the location and nature of the trip a secret....
We may learn that there is something about traversing the island's wormhole 'event horizon' while underwater, something that may lessen the turbulence while impeding the use of the terran mini-wormhole transit system.... requiring the dive into the Mariana Trench to travel to the inner core and meet up with the island, without using a black hole at all. This may be why the rigorous sub schedule adherence, as they cannot simply intersect the island's outer bubble/shell, but they must time the trip right, so the island's inner Earth arc coincides with the Mariana Trench/Guam location, enabling subs to more easily move between the island and the outer surface of the Earth....
While the above may turn out to be too far on the magical/mystery side of things, it is indeed interesting to consider whether our assumption that the island itself is arcing along the outer surface of the Earth, as so far we can only be sure that some energy/turbulence zone (wormhole 'event horizon'?) is arcing along the outer surface of the Earth.... And yes, you can see where this is all headed....
Will we ultimately learn, in the Season 5 finale which has been promised to us to contain a reveal so big it will dwarf the death of a Lost character, that not only is the island NOT on the OUTER surface of the Earth, but the island actually exists off-world, in some other part of 
the galaxy or universe, and the turbulence we have been witnessing tracing arcs on the Lamppost floor, and along the Earth's surface, actually is the turbulence associated with an 'event horizon' associated with one end of a galaxy- or universe-spanning traversable wormhole transit system! 1
Damon joked that it will all end up somewhere just outside the Crab Nebula.... Maybe he really wasn't joking at all, and the Season 5 brain-expanding 'reveal' will show our cherished band of castaways and characters on an island located not on Earth, but instead on some distant planet in a galaxy far, far away....
